On June 6th 2009, Joseph Stewart State Park opened the Lost Creek Marina docks up to fishing for kids under twelve.

The purpose of the event was for parents or adults to introduce their children to the fishing and outdoors experience.

During the weekend, fishing licenses and tags were not required. Anglers must, however, adhere to species, bag limit and size restrictions as well as equipment limitations.

Prizes and free BBQ included.
